DJ Bio

Zahra Habib is a worldbridger. Garnering recognition from around the globe as a DJ, curator, producer, and broadcaster. On her radio show turned podcast, Lunar Rotations, she takes listeners on a journey through music, lovingly delivering records spanning soul, funk, rare groove, from all across the globe. Her love of all things music translates into a life of travelling, record-digging, performance, production, research, and community building. She has shared the stage as a DJ and host with Cimafunk, Ladysmith Black Mombazo, Jully Black, Soul In The Horn, and is a Board Member of the iconic TD Sunfest World Music and Culture Festival based in London, Ontario, helping organically shape North America’s musical ecosystem.
