Unscripted: How Disabled Creativity Reshapes Art and Community

Unscripted: How Disabled Creativity Reshapes Art and Community
Followed by a Q&A session
In this presentation and Q&A session with Gift Tshuma (Moncton, ON), Gift explores improvisation as both an artistic practice and a disability aesthetic. Drawing on his work as a vocalist, technologist, and accessibility advocate, Gift examines how disabled artists don’t merely adapt to inaccessible systems — they expand what art, technology, and collaboration can become. Through stories of music-making, sensory design, and inclusive performance, his talk reframes access not as accommodation, but as a generative force shaping the future of creativity and community.
